Alaska Slim Molds Young Talent

Alaska Slim and Ballet Manila teams up in developing young ballerins by supporting the "Ballet Scholarship For Livelihood Program". Alaska Slim sponsors four ballet productions of Ms. Dawna Mangahas, a scholar of Ballet Manila.

Ms. Dawna Mangahas has taken roles in different popular ballet productions such as Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Don Quixote, and La Bayadere. She was chosen as a scholar to train under world renowned ballerina and Artist Director of Ballet Manila, Ms. Lisa Macuha Elizalde.

This year Ms, Dawna Mangahas performs in Halo-Halo 2 (August 24 to September 2), Swan Lake (September 28 to October 8), Pinocchio (November 30 to December 9, 2007) and Le Corsaire (February 15 – 24, 2008)

Alaska Slim is happy to be a part of this endeavor in molding the youth to stay fit and to love what they do.
