Basketball Camp

The Alaska Basketball Power Camp runs every summer vacation, attracting boys and girls to the country’s most popular sport.

Camp Director Jojo “Jolas” Lastimosa, Team Alaska Aces assistant coach and one of pro league’s basketball icons, heads Alaska’s basketball camp. The camp is composed of two modules.

Module 1: Developmental (ages 5-12 yrs)
Module 2: Advanced (ages 12 -16) and Competitive (ages 17-22)

At the end of the program, participants join the “All-Star Game” to showcase what they learned from the Camp, including 3-on-3 half court game, 3-point shootout competition, skill game and a Slam Dunk competition. During the graduation ceremonies, outstanding participants are given recognition.

The camp is held at the Ateneo de Manila University College Covered Courts.

Alaska also brings the Power Camp yearly to Cagayan de Oro City during the summer months through the Alaska Basketball Power Cup. Assistant Camp Director Danny Lastimosa assists Jolas in running the tournament. Click here to view the Alaska Basketball Powercamp website.
