Alaska Milk Inks Deal for Filipino Dairy Farmers’ Cooperative Assessment

On 23 November 2021, Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and the National Dairy Authority (NDA) formally entered into a partnership with Agriterra, an institution under Dutch private law, for a joint assessment of Dairy Farmers’ Cooperative in the Philippines. This is pursuant to the Dairy Training and Development Program between AMC and the NDA to work together in uplifting the lives of Filipino Dairy Farmers through trainings in the hope of ultimately increasing the local supply of fresh milk in the country.

The Cooperative assessment will cover scoping, action planning and actual trainings of fifty (50) dairy farmers who are members of six (6) Dairy Cooperatives chosen by NDA. Among the trainers are Dutch farmers who are members of Royal Friesland Campina, AMC’s principal, a cooperative with 150 years of experience in dairy farming and Top 7 Dairy Manufacturer globally. With this partnership, it is intended that best practices can be shared and learned at the same time.

This is another testament of AMC’s brand of care, ALAGANGALASKA, as it kicks-off its 50th Anniversary in 2022.
