Sari-Sari and Carinderia Women Owners join the AlasKabuhayan Livelihood Program

Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC), in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), together with the members of the Philippine Association of Sari-Sari Store and Carinderia Owners (PASCO), held another AlasKabuhayan livelihood and nutrition session with 50 women business owners in Malibay, Pasay City.

 

Chef Kai Padilla prepared mouthwatering and healthy recipes such as Chicken Ala King Empanada, Creamy Tortang Talong, Milky Ramen, and Creamy Mango Sago through a live cooking demonstration using Alaska Crema-Asada and Alaska Evaporada.

 

A nutrition education session led by AMC’s Regulatory Affairs Manager, Anna Marie Villanueva, then followed to refresh the participants’ knowledge about healthy eating and proper food preparation.

The event was hosted by the energetic AMC’s Marketing Services Specialist, Cecille Jacela. Ms. Cathering Callang, President of PASCO- Pasay, and Lorraine Sia, AMC’s Consumer Service Manager led the opening remarks.

“Kami sa PASCO ay nagpapasalamat sa Alaska Milk Corporation at sa DTI sa pagtulong sa amin makapagsimula muli pagkatapos ng pandemya,” shared by Catherine Callang, President of PASCO during the opening remarks.

To end the day, all participants received Alaska Starter Kits, which contain Alaska products that were used in the cooking demonstration.
