With over 600 nominations from the Philippines’ most important business organizations, Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC), was one of the 12 finalists and a part of this year’s Circle of Excellence for Sustainability Company of the Year Award at the Asia CEO Awards.
The Circle of Excellence for Sustainability Company of the Year Award is given to organizations that drive and demonstrate leadership and commitment to doing business without negatively impacting environment, community, or society as a whole.
For over a decade, the Asia CEO Awards has been bringing senior business leaders and organizations across the Philippines. It is the largest business awards event in the Philippines and one of the largest events of its kind in the Asia Pacific Region.
Alaska Milk bolsters collaboration with Makati City via innovative wrapper redemption program
Through our wrapper redemption program, Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) is proud to support Makati City’s 3BR (Reduce, reuse and recycle waste) Pasko Recycle Fair happening for the whole month of October at the Lobby of Makati City Hall Building II.
Under our Wrapper Redemption Program, first launched in 2019, residents can exchange post-consumer single-use plastics for Alaska Fortified Powdered Milk Drink, helping make affordable nutrition accessible while promoting proper waste segregation at the household and community level. As AMC’s base, Makati City is a crucial partner in this program.

Alaska Milk Corporation’s Commitment to Sustainability: A Clean-Up Partnership with CENRO
As a significant highlight during Alaska Milk Corporation’s Sustainability Week, we proudly joined hands with the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) of San Pedro, Laguna, for a dedicated clean-up drive in the vicinity of our manufacturing facility. This collective effort resulted in the responsible disposal of more than 2,800 kilograms of waste.
